Konono No. 1? What about Wolf Eyes? I love the trance-like slower songs of Omar Souleyman. All three bands are definitely great live bands.

i agree about most, but i think harvey milk is a great band (i dig the bluesrock stuff as well as the sludgey artmetal thing), and i have a soft spot for the hold steady. i loved the national's previous one, but the new one is this year's disappointment for me
vaporland: I love Devo's first four albums. I don't care about the new one.
luKe: I saw Konono twice - once headlining, and once opening for Björk. They don't do it for me.
Guy: The only Harvey Milk record I like even a little is The Pleaser, and I already own plenty of '70s hard rock, so I don't need to listen to that one, either. I've never actually heard a note by the National, the Hold Steady or the Gaslight Anthem. Remember, this isn't a list of acts I don't like - it's a list of acts I don't care about one way or the other.
